On April 9, 2011 men and women from North Carolina RGDA's Basulto Academy of Defense traveled to the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, NC for the National NAGA (North American Grappling Association) tournament and represented Jiu Jitsu at its finest, dominating the majority of the divisions and submitting opponents with a variety of armlocks, chokes and leg locks.

Coach Armando Basulto had a well-prepared group who showed great grappling on the mats, bringing home 8 Gold Medals, 2 Silver and a Bronze.
